Today marks 5 years since we started this adventure. They have been years full of sacrifice and effort, of great moments and, above all, of great satisfaction. Satisfaction of having been able to share these years with great people.
Taking advantage of this day that is so significant for me, even more so since the terrible situation we are facing in Spain and much of the world currently began, I wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you.
THANK YOU to the entire BeGas team, the response has been exemplary. This situation has made us stronger, more human and resilient than ever. Thank you for your commitment and empathy.
THANK YOU to our investors. For having trusted and continuing to trust BeGas; for having understood the special idiosyncrasy of our project; and for helping us, not only financially, but also humanly.
THANK YOU to our clients and suppliers who, in these difficult times, have continued to believe in us and have wanted to convey this to us in the form of letters of support and future commitments. These gestures are never forgotten.
THANK YOU, with all my heart.
It is true, we are facing a difficult, unknown, exceptional time… Many families have lost loved ones, people close to us who we have not even been able to say goodbye to. And for all of them, my most sincere thoughts and respect. I hope that we learn from what happened and that this makes us stronger as a society. We owe it to all of them.
It is a time of great uncertainty in the business and work context, but it is also opening up opportunities for innovation and the development of creativity in every sense. I am sure that a new way of understanding the world is emerging, in which the health of people and the well-being of society as a whole are always a priority.
We are an innovative company, committed to contributing to a more sustainable future in urban transport of goods and people. And that future involves society, our investors, customers and suppliers and, of course, our employees. For this reason, since the health crisis and the subsequent state of alarm began, at BeGas we have adapted our daily work to the new circumstances.
After carrying out a thorough analysis, as we are in the launch phase of our project, we decided to strengthen our commitment to the sustainability of our company and its workers. Therefore, we decided to continue rowing together and avoid any measure that would involve temporary employment regulation files. We have opted for teleworking for the majority of our employees and to adopt the necessary measures for those positions in which face-to-face work is essential – following the guidelines that, during the different stages of the state of alarm, are indicated by the Government.
With great effort, we have turned this setback into the opportunity to digitalize our work system, thus allowing greater conciliation with our family life from now on. We have focused on improving our processes, both internal and quality, and on updating our action plans in each department.
For all this, I feel now more than ever a special pride in being part of this great family. #PrideBeGas
